The process of ordering your custom painting
The cost varies, depending on the size of the canvas, the medium used and haw fast you need the painting. Prices start with smaller paintings painted with watercolour and these can be generally painted within a week. Please fill out the form on my CONTACT page to get an accurate quite.
Watercolor painings dry faster than oil paintings so watercolours can be finished sooner. The size of the canvas and the detail needed in the artwork can also affect the painting. Generally watercolours take approximately one week and oil paintings can take up to 6 weeks to complete.
Once we have agreed on size and painting medium, you can send me your best photos of your pet, or person you would like me to paint. If you would like me to paint a landscape or a seascape, please supply your own original photos.
50% non refundable deposit will be required before I begin painting your artwork. Once I have received your deposit I will advise you of the completion date.
I will email you a photo once I have made a rough sketch of the artwork before I begin paining. If you are happy to proceed, I will begin paining your artwork. I will send you progress photos and a photo of the finished paining at the end. Once I have received the balance of the payment, your painting will be sent to you by courier.
Please contact me for a rough estimate. Timing depends on other commissions I am currently working on, the size, subject, detail and medium of painting you need. To fast track your work, extra fees may apply.
